Sagebrush Glow | Original
“Sagebrush Glow”
Imagine you're walking through the high desert at golden hour and you see a multitude of sagebrush with the light hitting the tips of the branches... that's what I held in my mind's eye when painting this loose and slightly abstract piece of patch of sagebrush that fill's the viewer's entire field of vision.
The Sagebrush Diaries is an ode to the high desert of Southwestern Colorado and Northern New Mexico. Painted with mostly a cool color palette of greens and blues, this collection is an exploration and experimentation of painting my favorite desert plant.
SIZE & MATERIALS:
Approximately 4x3" watercolor on cold press arches paper
SHIPPING:
Unframed originals are packaged in a glassine sleeve & sturdy backing board. They are then shipped in a USPS rigid mailer to protect the print from bending. Framed originals will be packaged in a snug, custom made box with eco-friendly “bubble wrap” to prevent jostling and provide protection to the glass.
