Western Pet Portrait: Watercolor and pen style
This listing is for a watercolor and pen western pet portrait. This version is less characterized and has more detail than the signature “Bandit” style. I use watercolor and pen on cold press watercolor paper to create these loose and playful portraits. Keep in mind that these portraits are not meant to look exactly like your pet as they are illustrative in nature.
The process begins with sending me a reference photo(s) of your choosing, along with the answer to these questions. Please send photos that clearly depicts the characteristics you want displayed in the portrait. If anything is particularly important, please let me know.
1. Do you want any lettering above the portrait (i.e. "howdy" or your pet's name)
2. Do you want your pet to be drawn wearing a bandana and if so, what color?
3. Do you want your pet to be drawn wearing a cowboy/girl hat?
4.Important characteristics/distinguishing features?
5. Any other special requests?
I will create the portrait based on the photo and the details requested. Photos will be sent for approval before sending it off to you.
Notes:
There are 2 size options - 5x7” is for a single pet only and an 8x10” is for 2 pets or a larger drawing of 1 pet.
Payment is required up front. If you are unhappy with the initial product, I allow for 2 revisions at no extra cost.
